Rethinking Automotive Materials at Car Design Dialogues Detroit 2025
We recently participated in the Car Design Dialogues Detroit event which is a gathering that brings together the world’s leading automotive designers and emerging talent to explore the ideas shaping the future of mobility.

This year, our focus was on the next generation of sustainable materials for automotive interiors.
As part of the program, our team hosted the interactive workshop ‘Rethinking Automotive Materials’, led by Strategic Technical Director, Simon Cook, alongside Danielle Momany from our long-standing partner Piston Interiors.
The session explored how the automotive industry can leverage innovation to rethink waste streams and transform by-products into high-performance materials, supporting a more circular and sustainable future.
Attendees included prominent voices from Ford, GM, Stellantis, Lucid, and Scout, providing a dynamic forum to exchange ideas and discuss the evolving expectations of modern mobility.
The workshop featured a hands-on showcase of our latest material innovations, including new tannages and biofoams, which demonstrate the potential for sustainable alternatives without compromising on performance or quality.
